Wine & Beer Tasting Festival June 7
The Festival of Light's Annual Wine & Beer Tasting Festival has become Ahwatukee's premiere social event. Over 1,000 people gather at The Foothills Golf Clubhouse for an evening of wine/beer tasting (over 50 varieties!), appetizer tasting from several local restaurants, live entertainment, socializing and competitive bidding in a Silent Auction that boasts over 100 items. Charity Golf Tourney
The 2008 Festival of Lights Charity Golf Tournament is set for June 7th at the beautiful Foothills Golf Club. This shotgun 4-person scramble format includes a round of golf, golf cart, buffet lunch, range balls, goody bag and opportunities to win some great prizes! Donations Needed for the Silent Auction
Our Silent Auction has grown to include over 100 items and has become quite the affair. A huge selection of items is available from retail or dining gift certificates to weekend rental getaways to sports tickets to art and jewelry - the offerings are limitless. If you would like to contribute an item to the auction in the name of your business or family, please download and complete the donation form, and return it by May 23.

Charity Partners Selected for 2008
Eacy year the Festival of Lights conducts and open-application process for other non-profit charities to partner with us for our annual events. These groups work with us to plan and execute the events and in exchange, share a portion of the proceeds. FOL has selected the Kiwanis of Ahwatukee to partner with for our Charity Golf Tournament on June 7, 2008. The Melonhead Foundation and the Y-OPAS (YMCA-Outreach Programs for Ahwatukee Seniors) were selected to work with FOL on the Silent Auction at the Winetasting Festival on June 7, 2008.
